So...... happy summer everyone! We made it to the month of June! Yay! Just thinking about the summer months makes me happy!
I wanted to talk about all the things that Turner Speech has going on. Our summer enrichment program began on June 1st. We are very excited and already in the 3rd week. We have four more weeks to go. Time flies and the days seem to zoom by. Our students are engaging and showing progress. On Thursday, June 17, we are hosting a food truck at our office location in Vicksburg. Check out: @Chanathetattooedchef on Facebook. We are definitely looking forward to tasting a few items. Thanks to Mr. Hargrove for collaborating with us. We plan to host a Kahuna Ice and a few other food trucks before mid July. Lastly I have to mention the Juneteenth Festival happening on Saturday, June 19. Turner Speech will be "Celebrating Freedom" along with other vendors, businesses, and community resources. Stay tuned and be sure to check back for updates.
