September..September we see you honey!! Don't you just absolutely LOVE this time of year? It's the cooler weather..the crisp mornings...the beautiful colors of Autumn!! It feels like new beginnings and makes you feel so energized.. It's a whole vibe for sure!! Who's ready for football, boot season, layering, and everything pumpkin spice? Lol.
So right now Turner Speech is busy trying to finish out the year. We have so many projects that we are working on right now. The next few months will steer us into the new year and set us up for 2022.
On Saturday 9/25, we will be hosting a Parent Support Workshop between 10-11:30 am. Topics of discussion include 1)Understanding Test Scores, 2) Speech and Language Skill Development, and 3) Reading Standards. We can't wait to meet with our parents and create opportunities for open dialogue and information exchange. Along with Good Foundations Tutoring Service and thru funding from United Way and the City of Vicksburg, we will be starting a K-3 Literacy program in October. We are very excited and can't wait to see the progress that our students are going to make.
